SHOSHONE NATIONAL FOREST
Elk Fork  – 3 miles one way
Meander above the creek with inspiring views of the high country. The creek crossing is a perfect spot to turn around and head back for a picnic in the campground.
Dead Indian – 2.5 miles one way
Trek into the Clark’s Fork canyon along the route historians believe the Nez Perce used to flee from the U.S. Calvary in 1877. Amazing views of waterfalls tumbling into one of the nation’s deepest gorges.
Crazy Creek – .25 miles
It is worth stopping the car for a five-minute walk to Crazy Creek Falls. Holy City ( F-6 ) – .25 miles
Stop at the pull-out for a closer inspection of the volcanic rock spires.

CODY IN-TOWN
Paul Stock & Shoshone Riverway Nature Trails – mileage varies these riverfront trails provide an excellent chance to glimpse deer, muskrat, songbirds and waterfowl.
Beck Lake  – 2 miles -Stretch your legs on the paved trail looping around New Cody and Markham reservoirs or head across the canal from the western edge of Markham Reservoir on dirt two-tracks for a more strenuous walk.
Draper Museum of Natural History The Draper (one of five museums at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center) is home to interactive exhibits highlighting geology, wildlife, and human presence in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

BUFFALO BILL STATE PARK
Explore the shoreline of Buffalo Bill Reservoir and enjoy lunch at one of the many picnic spots.
